His family loves St. Augustine. It’s where his family took day trips during his childhood, where parents celebrate their anniversary, and where his older sister spent her first anniversary, too. So Frank continued the tradition last May, when he took Kaci to wander the historic downtown early one morning. Then he took her to the waterfront, right beside the city’s iconic fort. And there he pulled out a ring, asked Kaci to promise to celebrate anniversary after anniversary with him. Maybe in St. Augustine — or wherever life takes them, together.

We headed back to St. Augustine for their engagement session yesterday, to get some pictures of them in the very spot where Frank proposed and Kaci said yes. And to enjoy the city that has become so significant to his family all over again. Congratulations, you two!
