Nikole spent the week leading up to their engagement session stressing out over what to wear. I spent the hours leading up to their engagement session stressing out over the unseasonably gray, rainy weather. A part of me wished we could reschedule. I’m so glad we couldn’t.
The night before, Nikole put together two perfect outfits. And two hours before we met up at Ormond Memorial Gardens, the sun burst through the clouds, delivering a dry afternoon and a glowing sunset that illuminated the end of their shoot at The Casements’ Rockefeller Gardens with a warm peach glow. It was a beautiful engagement session, packed with lots of love, plus e. e. cummings and some skateboarding lessons — but I don’t want to give too much away. You’ll get to see it all soon enough.
For now though, here’s a preview of Nikole and Arun in all their lovestruck photogenic-ness. They were wonderful to work with, and just as wonderful to be around. I’m sure this photo is enough of an explanation that I can’t wait for their wedding day!
