She stared nervously at her reflection in the mirror of the condo bedroom, her dangly earrings sparkling and her Melissa Sweet eyelit lace gown looking perfectly and beautifully bridal. Then Kristy’s face split into a grin. “It’s starting to feel real,” she said.
A few miles away at home, Nick was getting ready with his groomsmen. He buttoned up his shirt, adjusted his bow tie, slipped into his jacket. He didn’t need to say anything. Everyone knew how excited he was to marry his best friend.
On a day when the weather forecasters called for rain and even hail, we only felt a few raindrops — the good-luck kind — just after their ceremony at the stunning Princess Place Preserve (the same spot where Nikole and Arun exchanged their vows in February). And during their reception at Oceanside Country Club, we watched a fiery sunset turn the hotels lining the beach a rosy tangerine — coordinating with Kristy and Nick’s orange and gray color scheme. She looked stunning. He looked dashing. Together, they looked like an incredible marriage is in the works.
Kristy and Nick, we’re so happy for you two! Your wedding was absolutely beautiful, filled with so many happy tears (believe us, we caught them on camera) and so much laughter. We hope your honeymoon in the mountains will be the perfect start to your marriage, unplugged from the rest of the world as you enjoy being the new Mr. and Mrs.!~ Laura
