All right, Oceanside, I have to come out and say it: You really outdid yourselves this year!

Last February, Danny and I had the pleasure of photographing Oceanside Country Club’s President’s Ball, and we were thrilled when we were asked to come back to shoot it for a second time this year. When we arrived and I opened the doors to the ballroom and stepped inside, I truly gasped. Gleaming copper and bronze tables stretched the whole length of the ballroom, with towering centerpieces (handmade by one of the country club’s members, Suzanne Thompson) spiking up toward the chandeliered ceiling.There was more to the party than the beautiful ballroom, though. The past presidents’ reception was going on in the dining room, and then the open cocktail hour kicked off in the living room.Back in the ballroom, the formal schedule got underway.And then came the dancing!If you’d like to see more, check out the slideshow of the evening’s festivities!
