When we first started using PASS last fall to deliver our clients’ photos, we fell in love. The simplicity of delivering digital images online was great not just for us, but for our clients, who could share their pictures with family and friends around the world with just one click. Allowing our clients — and their friends and family — to download any and every picture they wanted was exactly what we wanted. But PASS wasn’t always the easiest system for our clients to understand.

Enter the New PASS, just released this winter and re-imagined and redesigned to be simple enough to, as the developers put it, “pass the Grandma test.” It couldn’t be much easier than it is now! Click on any image while viewing a PASS gallery from your computer, iPad, or smart phone, and you’re immediately given the option to download it, make it a favorite, or share it via email, Facebook, Pinterest, or Twitter. Or, if you’re a VIP (the person whose pictures are in the PASS gallery, or a friend of family member they’ve chosen to make a VIP), log in and click “Download All” to save every single picture. The images are safely stored in the cloud, which offers a lot more peace of mind than getting images on a DVD, which can break, or a USB, which is so small and easy to lose. And soon you’ll be able to order your favorite images as prints directly through PASS, using the very same pro lab Danny and I have worked with since we started our business. Then there’s the fact that the new PASS looks absolutely gorgeous — like the prettiest Pinterest board you could imagine.
