It was the handkerchiefs that nearly did me in — the handkerchiefs Taylor and Jerry gave their mothers on the morning they got married, thanking each mom for raising her child to be the perfect partner. Then there was the no-look, where Taylor flicked away a few tears as she read Jerry’s card, Jerry standing just around the corner where he couldn’t see her. Then there was the locket on Taylor’s bouquet, with her daddy’s picture so he could walk with his daughter down the aisle. In truth, there were a lot of parts of this wedding that were tear-jerkers. I happened to be hiding behind my camera, so no one could see when I cried. This was a wedding worth crying over.
Taylor and Jerry, we’re so, so happy for the two of you! You’re celebrating an entire year of marriage, a move back across the state, and new jobs. Congratulations! We wish you many more years of celebration!

Always nice to see weddings that you took part in last and make it to that first anniversary. 🙂
