As she sat in front of the mirror that morning, her hair twisted into curlers, Jessica murmured, “I hope I don’t cry.”
“You will,” her ten bridesmaids unanimously assured her.
At the wedding ceremony a few hours later, as she faced Stephen in front of their family and friends and they promised their lives to one another, it happened. A few quick tears. A moment of emotionally poured out vows. It’s hard to keep it together. It’s impossible not to be absolutely overwhelmed with the joy and the solemnity and the sense of finally making it to the beginning together in that incredible moment.
