It’s that time of year when I’m in gift-giving mode. And I don’t know why we haven’t done this before — but this year, we want to give a Christmas gift to complete strangers.

A portrait session — engagement, family, couple, newborn, whatever the winner would like. An hour of shooting time in the Daytona Beach area, and a PASS gallery of hi-res edited digital images available to download. No strings attached.
So here’s how it works: If you know a couple or a family or an individual who has recently been through or is going through a difficult time, we would love to give them the opportunity to have portraits taken — to celebrate their strength and determination to live and enjoy their lives to the fullest. So between now and December 20th, we’ll be accepting nominations via email (at laurayangphotography@gmail.com). Send us a short email letting us know why these people would benefit from a portrait session, and on Saturday, December 21, we’ll choose the winner. The winner will be notified over the weekend, and we’ll schedule the portrait session during January or February.

We can’t wait to gift someone with a portrait session this Christmas, so spread the news among your friends and family — and send us your nominations!
