Amy walked out of the bride’s room holding the ruffled skirt of her wedding gown — the gown her mother had handmade — with the biggest smile on her face. “Let’s go get married!” she cheered.

And after the ceremony had ended and she walked back up the aisle, arm in arm, with Chris, and their bridal party followed them out into the sunshine, there was more excited cheering — from all of them.
