When we began planning their engagement portraits, Elizabeth told me she wanted a rustic setting for their engagement portraits, with an old barn and pastureland and pretty fences. Combine those things with some magical light and a couple so happily in love, and you have the recipe for one amazing engagement session!
We started on a private farm in Ormond Beach. It couldn’t have been a better fit for these two.
Having a country setting was important to Elizabeth and Allen, because not only has Allen introduced Elizabeth to his world of hunting and fishing and outdoor life, but they’re getting married on his family’s ranch in Bushnell, Florida, this October, and they wanted a complimentary location for their engagement portraits. This old barn, stacked with hay bales from the nearby pastures, was perfect!Love these next two!The picture below on the right is one of my favorites from the day — just the soon-to-be-weds, the old barn, and the steamy summer sky.
Aaaahhh!I love the look of love. Also, there aren’t many things cuter than a sundress with a pair of cowboy boots.Next up, we headed around the corner to wrap up our shoot at Hidden Creek Stables.
Elizabeth and Allen, you two look just wonderful together. And let’s end with another favorite. . . .Elizabeth and Allen, we are so looking forward to your wedding this fall!
