When we met Eileen and Phillip two years ago, we clicked right away. We saw each other again a year later at CONNECT in 2014, and we made plans to get together. This past January, they brought their daughters Jasmine and Juliette down to Florida to visit us for a week, and last month, we book-ended CONNECT by staying with them at their house, just hanging out and grilling and and checking out Athens Twilight and wandering the UGA campus together. And shooting a family session with them right on their own front porch. It was perfect!
This shot right here — this sums up what I love about doing family lifestyle photography. They’re real, they’re unpredictable, and they’re all about the personalities on display!
If this isn’t pure happiness, I do not know what else could be!
Please note the sidewalk chalk on the porch behind Eileen and Phillip. It’s an integral part of their home decor, regularly updated by the girls! We not only love photographing this family, we love hanging out with all of them. Because, as this photograph bears witness, they are fun. So much, so much fun.
There’s a story behind this last picture: To get Juliette to look up at the sky, we asked her if she could see the unicorn flying overhead. And then Phillip told her the unicorn was . . . using the sky as its bathroom. Cue the super concerned look on Juliette’s face!Eileen and Phillip, thank you for inviting us into your home for the weekend(s), and for letting us photograph you all as you played! We can’t wait to see you again soon!

Nice pics. Looks like one of the girls got Lola’s dimples.
The sky is falling!
Beautiful, happy family! Great photography!
Love these photos!
