It’s hard to believe it’s already time to talk about Christmas again, with the summer heat still sizzling across the asphalt and school just getting underway for the year. But if you want new family portraits that you can use for Christmas cards this year, it is time to talk about Christmas!

Here’s why: after we shoot your portrait session, I need time to carefully sort and edit all your images. Once you have your images in hand, you’ll need time to sort through them to choose which picture(s) you want to use for your holiday cards — and then you’ll need time to design, order, and receive your cards before you can  mail them out to everyone on your list.

With that in mind, I highly encourage families and couples who want new portraits for Christmas cards to please book your family portraits by November 20. That way you will have your images ready, at the latest, by the beginning of December. Once December arrives, I won’t be able to guarantee photo delivery in time for Christmas cards.
