If you’ve spent any time on my blog at all, you recognize these people. From swapping mini sessions at two couples’ retreats to photographing their family at their home to traveling to China with them this spring for their adoption, they’ve made quite a few appearances on this blog. And I have a funny feeling they’ll keep making more and more appearances in the years to come. Because they’re pretty much family now. (And because, when sessions turn out this way, I just want to keep photographing people again and again.)

For their first vacation as a family of five, they came down to visit this summer. Naturally, we had to head out to the beach for their first formal portrait session as a family of five. It. Was. Perfect. I’d say they’ve settled into being a family of five just beautifully.
