A year ago, Jesse was getting ready to ask Erena to marry him, and the proposal happened over the summer, against the backdrop of snow capped mountains, when he visited her in Bolivia. A few months from now, they’ll tie the knot against the backdrop of Virginia’s lush Blue Ridge Mountains, and we truly can’t wait to be a part of what we know is going to be an incredible weekend.

Partly because we love these two and love their families. Partly because it’s a joy to see how much these two love each other. And partly because their engagement session last week was so beautiful, and these two were so easy to work with, that we know their wedding day will be amazing!We had started planning their engagement last fall — but it was well worth waiting until March, when the entire park was in bloom!Doesn’t it look like something straight out of a fairy tale?One of my favorites from the afternoon!Aahhhh, you both looked absolutely amazing!
As the sun ducked behind some clouds, we headed onto the windswept beach to wrap up the shoot. With all the wind and the chilly evening fast approaching, the beach was almost deserted, and we had the rocky coastline all to ourselves.Another favorite!Erena and Jesse, we had so much fun with you both, and we can’t wait for June to get here!
