For me, this past week and weekend only reinforced it: I love my job. I love my clients. I love the celebrations and milestones and tender, otherwise-forgotten moments they trust Danny and me to capture for them. I love getting to know my clients — advocating for them, collaborating with them. I love seeing how much they’re in love.And since I love this job, it’s not so hard to get going on a Monday morning. Okay, it’s still really difficult to force myself out of a cozy bed — but once I’m actually up and ready to work, there’s just excitement. And happiness. I can’t imagine being happier in any other job.

So again, I have to say to my couples, thank you for letting me do the work I love so much. Even on Mondays.
