At every reception, one of my favorite parts is seeing not only how the room has been arranged, but what it has been filled with. Because there are more possibilities than you might at first think.
There are traditional round tables.
And of course sweetheart tables and head tables.
But there are also large square tables.
There are custom-arranged tables for intimate weddings in small spaces.
And my recent favorite, feasting tables, also called king tables, where two rows of guests face each other for the meal.So when it comes time to set up your reception, know that you have options. Talk with your venue about what kind of setup and what kind of tables work best in the space where you’ll be celebrating, and with the number of guests you’ll be hosting, and go from there. Just note: They all photograph well, so you can’t go wrong!
Happy planning!
