You may remember this sweet baby girl from her newborn portraits — but if not, I’m more than happy to introduce you to her now, 6 months old and already hamming it up for the camera!

It was a hot and sunny summer morning when I headed back into her adorable nursery to catch up and see what a difference 6 months can make. And it was a little bit shocking: she’s reading now! Okay, maybe not quite “reading” so much as carefully studying the pictures on each cardboard page — but you get the idea. What hasn’t changed is that she’s coziest and happiest when Mom and Dad are snuggling her, and they love her so much the joy just jumps off their faces.This picture on the window seat is a spin on a picture we took when she was a newborn — and one we plan to keep recreating as she grows.
