This is Part Two of Claudia’s amazing senior portrait session. Click here to see Part One, her sunrise beach portraits.
It took a while for the two of us to tear ourselves away from the vivid sunrise at the beach, but eventually we headed across town, ventured down a long and very muddy dirt road, and arrived at Claudia’s stable, where her mare Lyric was waiting patiently. For her breakfast, not for her turn in front of the camera. But I would say Lyric had a knack for striking a pose. Just like Claudia. I’m rather fond of horses that are always curious about what’s going on around them…especially if they think/hope it will involve food.
Having a horse for a best friend, I’m convinced, is the very best way to spend your teen years.
At 9:30 in the morning, when it was incredibly humid and hot and we’d been outside shooting for nearly three hours, Claudia (who’d had her makeup done at 5:30 a.m. by Makeup by Tiffany) still looked amazing — with no retouching!
Claudia, it was so much fun doing these portraits with you and Lyric!
And congrats on your senior year!
